I got a mail saying my tyranid "drop pods" have been sent my way.
Started thinking about an al droppod tyranid army. Talked to my friend in Skellefteå and he has a friend that is playing an 8 strong droppod list
HQ
A winged hivetyrant with "hive commander" ability.
ELITE
2x2 zoanthrops in droppod
Doom of Malan'tai in pod
TROOP
2x15 devilgaunts (termagaunts with devourers) in pod
2x10 genestealers with broodlord
HEAVY
3 carnifex with twin-devourers in pod
Thats what I remember about what he talked about.
Sounds like kind of a cool list to play.
Drop down in the lap of the opponent and hope for the best best.
Anyhow I have a hockey game to attend (ok watching it on tv) so painting will have to wait again.
Later folks!
Sorry I've been lazy with updating the blog but now I'm back.
I've wanted some tyranid droppods for my army but I couldn't find a good model for them. With a little tip from my friend in a neighboring town I bought the model on the picture yesterday on Amazon.
Tournament this sunday. Exciting!
Al done.
Next in line are them freaking termagaunts. Sigh....
And my airbrush seems broken to. Dont know how it happened but a small small part of the nozzle is cracked.
Hoping to find a spare part to it or I have to buy a new one.
Dinner time then right back to horde painting
Basecoating, wash and first layer on the base done.
Dying to try em out ingame.
I took a break in my painting frenzy and went icefishing.
Not that interesting to you guys but I love it haha
In painting related matters there should be some pictures of 10 sporemines up on the blog later today.
I'm gonna try them out ho the next mini tournament I've been talking about.
More pictures later on :-)
